At Mughal Cutlery Shop we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This policy explains when returns, refunds, and replacements are accepted, and how to request them. By placing an order on mughalcutlery.com, you agree to the terms below.
1. Return Window
You may request a return within 15 days of receiving your order. Requests made after 15 days cannot be accepted.
2. When a Return or Refund Is Accepted
We accept returns and issue refunds without any issue when the product is:
- Unused and in its original condition;
- Still in its original, unopened packaging with all seals intact; and
- Returned within the 15-day window above.
You must contact us on WhatsApp and receive approval before sending any item back (see Section 6).
3. When a Return or Refund Is NOT Accepted
To protect hygiene, safety, and product integrity, we cannot accept returns or refunds in the following cases:
- The product has been used;
- The seal has been opened or removed;
- Sealed or fixed packaging has been opened or damaged;
- Event-based / seasonal products (for example, Eid ul Adha knives, toka, and bughda) once the related event has passed — these items cannot be returned or refunded after Eid ul Adha;
- The request is made more than 15 days after purchase.
4. Refunds and Deductions
For eligible returns, your refund will be issued for the product value after deduction of shipping / delivery charges. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
- Refund method: [e.g. original payment method / bank transfer / Easypaisa / JazzCash] — DECISION: confirm how you refund, especially for Cash on Delivery orders.
- Processing time: Refunds are processed within [e.g. 7–10] working days after we receive and inspect the returned item.
All returned items are inspected before a refund or replacement is approved. If a returned item arrives used, opened, or not in its original condition, the refund may be declined and the item returned to you.
5. Replacement Warranty – Daska Kamani Toka / Bughda
The Daska Kamani Toka / Bughda is a high-carbon, highly tempered tool. Our warranty for this product covers edge performance only:
- Covered (free replacement): if the sharpness fades or the cutting edge rolls, bends, or sits back during normal use.
- Not covered (no claim): if the cutting edge chips or breaks, or if the toka / bughda itself breaks or cracks. Because the item is highly tempered, breakage is not part of the guarantee.

The warranty applies to normal use only and does not cover damage from dropping, hammering, prying, cutting against stone/metal/concrete, or other misuse.
6. How to Request a Return or Replacement
- Contact us on WhatsApp first at [YOUR WHATSAPP NUMBER] with your order number and a clear photo or short video of the product and its issue. Do not ship anything back before you receive our approval.
- We will review your request and confirm whether it is eligible.
- Once approved, we will share the return address and instructions.
- Pack the item securely in its original packaging and send it as instructed.
- After we receive and inspect the item, we will process your refund or replacement.
Returns sent without prior WhatsApp approval may not be accepted.
7. Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Items on Arrival
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or you received the wrong item, please contact us on WhatsApp within [e.g. 24–48 hours] of delivery with photos or a video. In these cases we will arrange a free replacement or refund, including return shipping. We strongly recommend filming an unboxing video, as it makes damage and wrong-item claims much faster to verify.
8. Return Shipping Costs
- If you return an item because you changed your mind, the cost of shipping the item back to us is your responsibility, and original delivery charges are non-refundable (see Section 4).
- If the item was damaged, defective, or incorrect (Section 7), we cover the return shipping.
9. Order Cancellation
You may cancel an order before it has been dispatched by contacting us on WhatsApp. Once an order has been shipped, it can no longer be cancelled and will be treated under the return terms above.
10. Exchanges
If you would like a different product instead of a refund, mention this when you contact us. Exchanges are subject to product availability and the same eligibility rules in Section 2.
